President GEORGE Bush spoke at a Fourth of July rally in Okla yesterday to a capacity crowd of appreciative Americans. The Obamas were out of the country, avoiding the political necessity of compromising their true feelings about this country. I take exception to your discourteous respelling of his name and the characterization of him as a leftist. I have heard Karl Rove speak and he, like Pres Bush, is a great American. I support Sarah Palin whatever her reasons for resigning but I do not expect everybody else to agree with me on that. Rove’s job is to apprise situations from a political standpoint and of course has his own experience and wisdom to draw on. Sarah does not need alienation and new party fights to entangle her political endeavors going forward. I will continue to watch and listen to them all and put downs of President GEORGE Bush sours my interest in whatever else any poster has to say.

Jorge had an opportunity to be a great President for our republic. Alas, he was 20% conservative and 80% liberal/socialist.
I grimaced when he:
-Pushed more Federal control of education.
-Attempted to push Harriet Miers
-Gave us a larger Federal medicare program
-Signed McCain-Feingold that reduced free speech
And these are just a few of his favorite socialist things...
But when he began pushing amnesty for 30-40 million illegals, he lost his American conservative base and only RINOs were left to support his ant-American agenda.
