British forces on a major operation in Afghanistan say they have encountered little resistance from the Taliban. Probably because the Taliban is hiding out in peoples' homes.

They are like cockroaches that will scurry back to their holes and come out when no one is there. One thing these people are not is stupid. Crazy yes, stupid no. They have not been conquered in thousands of years and they also know that Western resolve is fleeting. (Go no further than the bumbling, stumbling gaffe machine Biden’s statement on Iraq yesterday) There strategy is to wait us out just like they did every one else. I commend the troops for taking the fight to them but what good will it do if your enemy refuses to fight?
