Yeah, many conservatives seem to have the same ‘martyr’ complex that we find in muzzie fanatics.
I’m real tired of conservatives, especially those die-hard loyalists to the pub party, using “turn the other cheek” and “We’re above their tactics” as their excuse for inaction and being walked on by the freakazoid left. It’s real old. Buncha losers.

Exactly- President Bush could have been MUCH more aggressive in defending himself, and the fact that he didn’t I beleive is what lost us credibility and the election- Even his father was the same way- Yeah, it’s nice to ‘rise above the tactics’ of the opposition- but my goodness- liek you said- complacency and innaction, and an unwillingness to defend yourself publicly is NO way to win elections, or to defend what you KNOW to be the right path!
