I didn’t say she wouldn’t but it would be a huge mistake. She’s now a less than full term former Governor who quit on her state. Good luck with that!

I gotta agree with you completely.

If she thinks that the derision of her by those in media will finally begin to subside, she is sadly mistaken. It will only increase from this point forward. Letterman's writers have just declared today a national holiday. Sad, but true.

From here on out, the press will make note of her attending fundraisers, political functions, making speeches, etc..

They will then say, "...well, if she can travel around the country to do these things, - why couldn't she even complete her first term in Alaska...?".

And, sadly enough, they will have a point.

What was she thinking...?

These basketball analogies just won't cut it.

Thanks. Who could ever complain that Obama had no experience when Palin won't even finish her first term? She was doing great things there and could serve as an example while proving the media and Obamabots wrong. Instead, she throws it away.

She gave her word to the voters of Alaska when they elected her to finish the job. I can't believe that Conservatives could be ok with this. Even she planned to get out of politics, she still needs to finish the job that she committed to do. She has no grounds to talk about duty and commitment ever again.
