A lot of people have been encouraging her to do just this and come to the lower 48 to campaign for candidates. Every trip she made outside of Alaska always drew ethics complaints from the Dems.
I think it is a smart move. Just like I think anyone running for President should not be holding an office — look what happened to McCain as a sitting Senator when he hung out to dry on the stimulus.
She is doing what is best for Alaska and now she can have the gloves taken off to go after this Administration. She is almost $1M in debt from the frivolous ethics complaints. We need a spokesman for the GOP that speaks for Middle America.
