I always fast forwarded past Billy Mays commercials, but then I saw a Thom Beers show called Pitchmen, about Billy Mays, and he seemed like a nice guy.

One of the Pitchmen shows also starred his son and father, and it was so sad...seeing both of them, and knowing that their son and father was gone.

Just goes to show you how transitory life is, and no matter how much we think we have it made, just like in Jesus’ parable of the rich man, sometimes we hear the Father say “Tonight your soul is required of you.”

Billy Mays had just gone on Conan, had guested on Leno, had signed a contract with Taco Bell, had a hit TV show, but his soul was required of him.

I hope he’s with the Father...

Well said;

"What shall it profit a man if he gain the whole world and lose his soul, for what can a man give in exchange for his soul?"
