Nope, Apples and Oranges comparison. Mondale was an extreme Liberal. As recent pols suggest, America is still a conservative nation by 40% ti 29%. Comparison is not valid.

I don’t think we can compare elections from years back.

WE now have the internet, 24/7 TV news, with all of this Liberal driven.
Not to mention more people going to Univs. which means more liberals.
