The US is not going to deport 20 million people. Get used to it. The best we can do is close the border, deport those in prison, deterr the hiring of illegals and denying welfare services. This will have an effect.

If you expect the deportation of 20 million plus illegals you can wait a long time.

NO one said anything about “rounding them up” or DEPORTING them all...but there should be NO “PATH” TO CITIZENSHIP, NO “EARNED” CITIZENSHIP, and NO “TOUCHBACK” schemes either...THAT IS AMNESTY. THAT is what MCCAIN, THOMPSON, etc. wanted.

Attrition through enforcement is the ONLY thing that will get my vote. Force them to leave on their own. Let them take the LEGAL route to get back in...apply in their own country and wait at the end of the line.

It's real simple to deport 20 million illegals, just start giving hefty fines and prison time to employers, including homeowners that pick them up on the street corner, and they will self deport.

Getting rid of the drug lords and corruption in Mexico would work: getting rid of MFN status for China would help a LOT too.

Mexicans may sh*t in our food, but they don't put lead and melamine into stuff knowingly.

The deportation line is nothing but hogwash. You make it uninviting for illegals and they will do what Reagan said every time.

20 million? No, but in case you haven’t been paying attention, many already have.

Enforcement of our laws would change the cycle. But there’s no will to enforce the law. Obama is now looking to cease law enforcement on the issue. And he and the marxist Rat leadership want those votes to create a permanent Soviet elitist structure in America.
