WASHINGTON U.S. Rep. Allen Boyd voted in favor of a sweeping climate change bill approved Friday by the House, 219-212.
"There is no silver bullet for our energy problems, but by taking a balanced, common-sense approach to our national energy policy, we are heading in the right direction."

This so-called Blue Dog has an American Conservative Union rating of 16.
He defends the jobs at Tyndall AFB. It provided him the cover he needed these past 11 years. Otherwise he is an 'aw shucks, good 'ol boy radical leftist.
...but we've found a platinum-plated, gold-filled piece of legislation and we're gonna give it a shot. It won't work, but boy is it expensive!
Pelosi said the climate bill was about ‘jobs’. They are both liars.
Sorry boys, link is no workee.
“...common-sense approach to our national energy policy...”
Common-sense? This the new-speak word for idiot or stupidity?
Orwell would either be amazed or in constant “I told ya so” mode.
Except you're tripping over obvious answers to go in the wrong direction.....
.....to "save the planet." (err...institute socialism)
They aren't trying to solve our energy problems. They are making them worse.

The morons at the Tallahassee Democrat in their OpEd stated:
Our Opinion: Vote ‘yes’ on climate bill
...
Please vote “yes,” Mr. Boyd.
Thanks.
Pelosi, Reid, & Hussein, the oligarchy of our once republic.
Zero did very badly in the election in the FL. Panhandle.
Boyd is safe. The abundance of government trolls in the Tallahassee area will keep him in his seat.
It’ll be worse only if you don’t want to cut your energy use by 50% in a vain effort to not bust your family budget. If you just accept 63 degree homes in winter and 88 degree homes in summer, not driving your SmartCar more than 45 mph, paying $25 per day to park in your company parking lot, giving up any plane travel on holidays and vacations and foregoing all needless energy waste such as pleasure travel, you’ll do just fine. Get with the new program, won’t you?
“There is no silver bullet for our energy problems....”
What energy problems? I don’t know anything about silver bullets, but there are more natural energy resources here than in Saudi Arabia.
A problem we do have is finding the will to get rid of our evil politicians and ignorant government regulators, while we still have people around who remember how to process fuel and build power plants.
Boyd is “my” representative. As every election comes around he sounds to be the most thoughtful and the most rigid conservative in Wasahington but he votes as a straight-line organization-SD(Social Democrat). The voters hereabouts never seem to connect the elected Boyd with candidate Boyd. His constituency is solidly conservative but apparently stupid.
