If you need another reason to hate Harvard University, here's a good one: the elite politically correct school that has more money than God was the ninth-biggest donor to Senator-elect Al Franken's 2008 campaign, according to the Center for Responsive Politics.

I’m sure that Harvard will get a big return on their contribution. Some nice earmarks, maybe building or two, more fed money for aid, research projects and outright grants. It’s nice to have friends in the Senate.

How can companies and Universities give to a candidate?
I thought that was illegal

Twenty thousand is not a ‘whole lot’ really; does make me wonder which of Harvard’s Foundations may have been additionally helpful to Al. . .and less transparent to the public.
