MINNEAPOLIS, MN Al Franken was approved Tuesday to join the US Senate. The Democratic Party will now involve him in their secret plans.
The Minnesota Supreme Court ratified Al Franken yesterday as having won the Senatorial election seven months ago. Incumbent Norm Coleman, having exhausted all legal channels except for the Minnesota Thunderdome, finally conceded the race, saying only, Next time Franken. Next time. The Democrats welcomed Franken into their upper echelons of power with a decoder ring and other perks.
In a private ceremony involving robes and jasmine scented aromatherapy candles, Franken was sworn in as a Democrat with his right hand placed on the original hand-written Communist Manifesto, and standing atop a Bible. While waving olive branches, the assembled Democrats watched as Nancy Pelosi branded him with the words Peace at Any Cost.

Well he didn’t scare the half of the folks in Minnesota. Makes you kind of wonder just how the “anybody but a Republican” mantra can drive folks to insane levels of reality inversion. I mean really, Al Franken?

I live in NY. It’s long been a joke and an economic basket case. But California, Michigan and now Minnesota make me feel so much better. The fact that this idiot Franken got within 20 points of Coleman doesn’t say much for you folks.
The third party candidate who got 15% of the vote made Frankenfreak a senator.
I am a native of Minnesota but haven’t lived there for 38 years. They used to be the point of origin for America’s mighty steel industry. Now their biggest export is Toivo-’n-Eino jokes and Al Franken. Shame.
Franken is proof that a talentless person who can’t make it in the private sector can still fall back to politics. The problem now is, we can’t “turn him off” for six years. To paraphrase Will Rogers, “Everytime he makes a law, it’s a joke; and everytime he makes a joke, it’s a law”.
