The most dramatic moment came from Debby Smith, 53, of Appalachia, Va., who was near tears as she described for Obama her fragile health, including a recently discovered tumor for which she cannot get treatment.

Obama waved her over and hugged her, saying, "I don't want you to feel like you're all alone." He promised to "find out what we can do within existing law" and called Smith the "perfect example" of the kind of person his health plan is intended to help.

Afterward, Smith seemed less than satisfied with Obama's reassurances, telling reporters that it was still unclear how she would get the treatment she needs before she becomes eligible for government aid in nine years.

The news media made it sound as if this woman was on her death bed and was unable to get treatment. Instead we are seeing that she is under a doctors care, but maybe she is showboating or thinks that the doctors are not moving fast enough. As someone who has just finished a year and a half from finding out that I had cancer to finishing the treatments, I know that sometimes it felt as if my doctors did not care. But in the end they knew what they were doing.

Debby Smith will be moderating the Southwest Virginia town-hall discussion in Appalachia at Town Hall on Dec. 30 at 7 p.m. According to Smith, the information from the meeting will be reported back to Daschle to be included in his report to the President. She wasn’t the only plant, there were at least two others that have already been verified as part of the infomercial hoax in Virgina on Wed.
Obama and his clowns have to know that in today’s technology society this hoax would be found out fairly easily and quickly. I suppose that they have become so confident of their ownership and control of a liberal media that no one in “puss corps” would call them out on this staged town hall.

Debbie Smith could have walked into any one of several DC area hospitals and received free, comprehensive treatment. All she needs to do is to claim to be an illegal immigrant. Ditto Texas, California, New Mexico and Arizona. Ditto Georgia, Illinois and Florida, New York, New Jersey and Massachusetts.
