Republicans Tend to Nominate People Whove Run for President Before.
With the exception of George W. Bush, Republicans tend to favor candidates whove sought the nomination at least once before: John McCain (won in 08, lost in 00), Bob Dole (won in 96, lost in 80), George H.W. Bush ........

The base is very open. Look how quick, and how much traction that SP got. That is hunger looking for a home, and the RNC/GOP inc, knows it. They are doing all they can to suppress anyone but vetted institutional players.
If Obama, who never held an executive corn dog stand is good enough, the MSM will have to accept whom ever rides in.
My gut feeling is that the RNC/GOP would rather lose than have some maverick come in and cause all the dust to fly off decades of cozy cohabitation with the Democrats.

You can always tell BS analysys like this by the short shrift they give to Palin.
When they can’t even acknowledge that Palin is slick mitts biggest impediment to the nomination you know they are FOS.

Okay, I don't know what you said, but I'm sure it has to do with the fact that I'M KIDDING. What's the matter with you people? Have you all lost your minds?
You guys need to find a real enemy, constantly trashing your friends won't win you anything.

I think they are sincere. They really, really think zero about Palin. Squat, a non person. And, also most non coastal, semi rural American and America like them.
For them there is fly over country filled with non existing people that exist only to grow their food, make their machines, mine, timber, transport, build. Basically the anonymous field hands of the elites. We might as well be in Siberia.
