DETROIT (AP) -- U.S. car and truck sales showed signs of stabilizing in June after a year of sharp declines, but every major automaker except Honda Motor Co. reported lower sales than in May.
Still, year-over-year declines last month slowed for four of the six major carmakers, with Ford Motor Co. reporting the smallest drop in a year at 10.7 percent when compared with June of 2008.

READ that paragraph...the spin is literally DIZZYING. They try to freely associate housing starts, consumer confidence with an "unexpected" loss. Do you think billion dollar roads and airports produce wealth when they are being BORROWED from the CHINESE at 4%? You dumb, dumb Obamabots!

I like how they call it “stabilizing”. Stabilizing would be sales getting back to where they were before the depression. Insults the intelligence, doesnt it ? LOL.

We just went car shopping for a new small truck. The show rooms were devoid of salesmen and customers. Many Dealers are closing early in the evenings. A single equiry will cause multiple phone call fall ups. They are hungry.
A one Dealer they said that they had to find their last saleman..he was around somewhere.
I want to know who the chuckleheads are that are still buying GM and Chrysler?

No, stabilizing means exactly that, that losses are slowing or stopping. To return to what they were would be “recovering.”
