WASHINGTON (AP) - A powerful House committee chairman with a central role in President Barack Obama's global warming and health care legislation has been hospitalized.
Rep. Henry Waxman, D-Calif., was not feeling well Tuesday and was admitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles for "routine testing," spokeswoman Karen Lightfoot said Wednesday.

I can not stand the guy or his policies, and I agree the Libs are two faced when it comes to a tiered system of healthcare. But I don’t like when nasty comments were said on the Left sites about Tony Snow, or when Cheney was sick, so i don’t want to go there.
No apology is needed or required. Waxman and all of the other ilk like him are destroying our country. I have no sympathy at all for him or others like him. But I'll be civil and still wish him the best of luck.

Because all animals are equal, except some are more equal than others. (Animal Farm). We need to be pounding on these jerks and making them answer one question with a yes or no answer.
When you (Congress and Senate) push this health care plan on others, will you opt-out of your own private health care plan and be treated like the rest of us? If they say no, scream bloody murder at the hypocrisy. If they say yes, tell them we know they are lying but we will hold them to it.
I loathe this sorry excuse for a human being but don’t wish him illness. I want to beat him in the arena of ideas. May he retire and take care of himself.
Retirement sounds good for at least 75% of Congress. No citizen legislature there, that’s for sure. Entrenched, out- of- touch lifers must be retired.
OK, but who would replace him? Some other younger socialist? We need to energize the opposition, not just hope these old farts all die off...
