His support is more steadfast than I would have expected. Its going to take a pretty nasty double dip recession to bring him down in the near future, IMO.
given the sample size, he can probably move it by a point or so by promising some freebies in a town meeting. It won’t hold.
The strongly approves seem to have a nice downward trajectory over the past month or so. I don’t think we’re on the cusp of crash and burn quite yet but it should come.

I said the other day when he was +2 that it was his new ceiling. Seems the bar has now been lowered. I believe he is on southward slide that will continue as he fights for cap & trade and national healthcare and the talk of more taxes continue. Not to mention is silence on Iran and his new cuddle bunnies on Hondorus , Chavez & Castro.

Right now they approve of Obama as a person but deeply disagree with him on policy. His policy numbers are terrible but his approval numbers are ok.
Right now you are seeing the drip , drip , drip of perception catching up with reality.
He will be in Bush & carter numbers by 1st of next year.
Repbulbicans will win big gains next Nov. Instead of going with the conservative flow like Clinton , Obama will fight them. He will be beat for reelection because he will not move to the right like Clinton did.
