Documents Detail Case for Walpin's Dismissal Documents delivered to lawmakers this week expose a frequently confrontational and petty relationship over the past several years between officials at the Corporation for National and Community Service and the group's inspector general, Gerald Walpin. President Obama fired the Bush appointee last month, citing a lack of confidence.
Former Corporation for National and Community Service Inspector General Gerald Walpin. (AP)Lawmakers almost immediately raised concerns with the dismissal, suggesting the White House failed to follow proper procedure in removing the Bush appointee and did not provide adequate reasons for the dismissal. The White House outlined its concerns in a letter to lawmakers, suggesting Walpin appeared confused, disoriented and unable to answer questions at a late May Corporation board meeting.

I do not know what to make of this one hour old supposed news... Other than 0bama has nothing more in evidence than the man was confused.
It looks like (this is a MSM weak report) that 0bama is awaiting the 30 days and there will be no hearing.
The letter is dated 6/16, doesn’t detail or explain anything.
Isn’t a petty and confrontational environment usually what happens when you get the crooks cornered?
Playing CYA with a concocted backstory..
Yes, nothing new here. Exactly the same accusations from the same people in the same contexts as was originally circulated.
WP is just recycling it as new and “improved”.
I know the very article I posted is the run-around, yet it is supposedly ONE HOUR AGO PRINTED NEWS?It is a stall tactic so 0bama can fire him after the 30 days.Either this... or the reporter is lazy???
fyi
Or trying to keep the subject in the news.
I think this is it.
The question is... Since the FBI has opened an investigation How can Eric Holder not hold a huge conflict of interest?
Sounds like a typical status review meeting where I work.
Ah, playing the Bush card now, are they? When all else fails, mention Bush...
Pathetic.
Took them time to concot it.
They are also claiming Walpin was resigning under Obama. I do not recall Walpin stating this. It is so obvious 0bama wants Walpin out because he opened a viable FBI investigation that does not make 0bama look good AT ALL and could shut down one of Obama’s slush funds.
LOL and they say NOTHING.

..... Beautiful! A comment worthy of Will Rogers or H L Mencken.
Smells like after the fact documentaary.
It led me to believe that the Corporation had provided evidence to the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee. The linked documents are "new" and worth review.
The supposed "news" here is that the Corporation has provided evidence that Walpin is ignorant of EEOC procedure, and that Walpin is tolerant of racist and sexist humor in the workplace.
FWIW, I posted a duplicate link to the same article, you were quicker than I was in getting this here. I've asked Admin Moderator to remove my later/dupe, link here in case both threads catch comments.
Corporation for National and Community Service.
Isn’t that what Michelle was made czarina of?
Why does the ‘government’ run ‘corporations’???
