Latest on the Obama Birth Certificate eBay Auction is Scratched
eBay messages | 6/30 | self

Posted on 06/30/2009 9:05:15 PM PDT by woofie

This is the latest messaging I have had with the seller on eBay

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Dear colmado_naranja,

I see the auction has been pulled (again), also I got a bunch of warnings that you might be trying to get my account info etc.

I sure hope you are legit or at least not trying to cause harm

If you can tell me anything about what is going on I'd appreciate it

____________ >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Dear ____

Hi. Don't worry, I'm not a scammer. You can check with other eBayers that have made posts all over the internet in support of me and that eBay is now to the point that they will say anything to cancel my auctions.

There will be no more auctions for Obama?s b.c., but this may interest you. Ebay item # 160345795373. ?Autographed photo of Smith and Andylenny abroad.?

Again you?ll have to search by listing number for the first several hours until the title becomes searchable.

I'm turning the b.c. over to WorldNetDaily and Joseph Farah. Thanks for your support. You are appreciated.

- colmado_naranja

>>>>>>>>>>>>

I had recieved this from eBay earlier:

Hello ______________

Our records show that you recently received an email from colmado_naranja through the Ask Seller a Question or Contact eBay Member features. This email may be fraudulent and an attempt to do one of the following:

- Obtain your eBay password - Gain access to your eBay account - Use your eBay account for fraudulent activity - Set up an outside-of-eBay transaction which may be fraudulent

This kind of email is often called a "phish" or "phishing attempt," and the people who send them are known as "phishers." Phishers use these methods to try to get your personal information, such as user names, passwords and credit card details. Because the emails may sometimes come through the eBay system, the phisher may seem to be trustworthy and have a good reason to contact you.

***Important - Protect Your Personal Information*** - Don't reply to the sender either through the eBay system or your personal email account.

- Don't open any links or cut and paste any Web addresses into your browser from the phishing email.

- If you think you may have entered personal information such as your password, Social Security Number, or credit card information into a website based on a request from a phishing email, you need to act *immediately* to protect yourself from identity theft. For detailed instructions about the steps to take, please go to:

http://pages.ebay.com/help/account/protecting-identity-theft.html

***What to Do If You've Already Sent an Item or Payment*** If you've already sent payment to or shipped an item to a person who asked that you take the transaction outside of eBay, we recommend you take the following steps:

1. Contact the payment service that you used to make the purchase. If you paid by credit card, most card issuers provide consumer protection in online fraud cases.

2. Please complete the "Item Bought Outside of eBay" form or the "Item Sold Outside of eBay" form. To find these forms, please go to:

http://pages.ebay.com/help/tp/isgw-fraud-non-ebay.html

Click the "Item Bought Outside of eBay form" or the "Item Sold Outside of eBay form" link. Enter your information in the page that follows, and then click the "Submit" button. The information you provide will enable us to work more effectively with law enforcement in case an investigation occurs.

3. If you were the seller and shipped the item to a fraudulent buyer, contact the shipping carrier that you used. That company may be able to assist you further. If you sent the item through the U.S. Postal Service, file a mail fraud claim. To do so, please visit:

http://www.usps.com/postalinspectors/fraud/

4. Contact the local law enforcement where you sent the payment or item. The authorities where the seller or the buyer lives might be able to provide additional assistance. To find local law enforcement, go to:

http://www.usacops.com/

***Additional Account Safety Tips*** To protect your email and your eBay account, we recommend that you always follow these safety tips:

- Do *not* respond to the sender either through the eBay system or your email account. An offer to buy or sell an item outside of eBay is against eBay policies, might be fraudulent, and will not be covered by eBay protection programs.

- If you received what appears to be a Second Chance Offer for an item that you recently bid on, check My Messages to make sure the offer is legitimate. Second Chance Offers appear in My Messages with a blue background and a subject stating, "eBay Second Chance Offer for Item...."

- If you receive a Second Chance Offer directly in your personal email and it is not in My Messages, it is not a legitimate offer.

- If a Second Chance Offer appears in My Messages with a subject line of "Message from eBay Member," it is not a legitimate offer. Before responding to a Second Chance Offer, make sure it contains both the blue background in My Messages and the subject line of "eBay Second Chance Offer for Item?"

- Never pay for an item you've bought on eBay by using instant cash or wire transfer services such as Western Union or MoneyGram. These payment methods are unsafe on eBay. It's against the eBay Accepted Payments policy for a seller to request payment using these methods. For more information about payments that are accepted on eBay, please go to:

http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/accepted-payments-policy.html

Sincerely,

eBay Trust & Safety team

Refer to post#13 for the link to colamado_naranja's latest auction:

Here

In his auction description, pay attention to what he says here:

"I plan to upload a video to Youtube. My user name is InspectorSmith. I've had the account for some time. I have never uploaded anything. I mostly use Youtube to search for help, e.g., how to remove the battery (after it wont hold a charge for long) from the 1st generation iPhone or how to lay an English bond brick wall. So this will be the first time that I've ever uploaded anything. So you'll get your document yet, up close and personal."

He only favorited and featured the Revolutionarytruth lady's video on his Youtube channel, because she happened to be the one giving it attention. How she fits into all of this is uncertain, but her Youtube channel is not what he described in his Ebay auction. I know that's throwing you off, but any user can feature any other user's video on their channel or their own videos if they choose to. I do it for others all the time, myself. I do it because it brings them more recognition because of my excellent exposure there.

You said — I was just thinking that perhaps they might have already known something about the BC when they started the billboards because otherwise, ridicule from msm.

Well, being that they’re a news outlet and being that they definitely want Obama out of office — if they had something and could expose it to the world, they definitely would have done so.

If they only suspect something and/or think that there is something in a particular place, but just can’t get their hands on it — they’re in the same boat as everyone else around here — which is *nowhere*. And that’s the whole problem in the first place.

So, I really don’t think they knew anything more than what they’ve been printing in their articles over these many months or more than anyone here has posted. I think we all know the same information. It’s just that the information is speculative and not proven and not useful to *do anything* about it. That’s the big problem.

Thus, no, I don’t think that this billboard campaign was because they knew something was just about ready to happen and they decided to get a jump on things, by these billboards. I think they’re doing *two things in one* — they’re advertising their big issue that they’ve been hammering away on (the birth certificate issue) — and — they’re getting advertising out about WorldNetDaily — because — you’ll probably have no idea what that billboard is about, until you go to that link at the bottom of the billboard.

And they also figure that a certain number of those new viewers to their WND website will also become regular followers of WND from then on.

That’s how I see what they are doing.

Sounds reasonable.

Wishful thinking that since the elected grovelers won’t stand up to “the One” while he is destroying the country, I would like something to pop up to undo all the mess.

But if we find out this is true, the NOT-Natural Born Citizen, what next?

Would we have 1/3 of the country rioting in order to keep him Pres?

Well, he would deserve a medal if it was proven that Ogabe wasn’t a citizen. But how could he endure the thought of losing a $1,000,000 offer that never reached a conclusion because Ebay pulled the auction? Was the offer real or was this all a setup by someone? He promised that the document could be offered for forensic examination before the transaction was to be completed. Basically, the buyer had nothing to lose by bidding. When I looked at the auction when it was at $80,000, the bidder list looked legit to me.

What’s odd right now, IMO, is that Ebay sent prospective buyers a message that this seller was using this auction for ‘phishing’ reasons. What’s that all about? If true, why doesn’t Ebay just suspend the account? He’s already had several pulled auctions, which allegedly violated Ebay’s Terms of Use. This is the most peculiar thing to me at the moment. Normally, Ebay wouldn’t send a message like that to anyone unless they had good reason, but then not suspending the account when they have suspicion? It doesn’t make sense to me. Either Ebay has their wires crossed, or there is some funny business going on here which involves them.

If this is a hoax, it’s a damn good one. What we have now are unanswered questions and speculation. That is why it deserves skepticism. Lots of it.

You asked — But if we find out this is true, the NOT-Natural Born Citizen, what next?

Well, let’s say that WND gets this document and authenticates it beyond any doubt and then presents it to the USA and its citizens. Then I would say that the next step is the Impeachment process. And if that doesn’t work (because it did not work on Clinton, either...), then it should be excellent ammo in the next Presidential election.

I think those are the only two available means for what kind of action can be taken...

Well, it’s not strange or weird, when you see all the Obama Derangement Syndrome types here always using the same word with me... LOL...

As I said, it’s a simple definition for what the Obama Derangement Syndrome types use for “troll”

“If you don’t agree with me, you’re a troll”... :-)

______________
I’ve used Ebay for many years. I have over 1500. positive feedback. Mostly buying but some selling. I’ve received every scam known to man from Ebay scammers and I always forward them right along to spoof@ebay.com so they can catch the idiots that never give up trying to get your password.
I have NEVER EVER heard of people getting emails like the one shown on this thread. NEVER. The only time they do that is if you have a bid on an item and it’s ended by Ebay for being counterfeit or something like that. For them to tell people not to email the seller is NUTS. They can’t tell you who you can and cannot email.
Indeed, it is very weird. For some reason, they don’t want people contacting this guy.
