Minnesota Court Confirms Razor-Thin Election Win, but Party's Filibuster-Proof Majority Is Vulnerable to Internal Fissures.
WASHINGTON -- The Minnesota Supreme Court cleared the way for Democrat Al Franken to become Minnesota's new U.S. senator, ending a festering eight-month election dispute and giving the Democrats a 60-seat voting majority in the Senate.
The court on Tuesday unanimously upheld Mr. Franken's margin of 312 votes out of 2.9 million cast in November's election, giving him the seat that had been held for one term by Republican Norm Coleman. Mr. Coleman conceded at a news conference at his home two hours later, saying he would heed the court's finding.

Isn’t ONE PARTY rule great?
It’s a TOTAL DISGRACE that a man like this was voted into the United States Senate.

I used to admit to having been born in Minnesota. No longer - any State that can elect a complete @ss-clown like Al 'The Diaper' Franken to national office (where said @ss-clown can piss on the rest of the people in the country, in addition to the numb skulls in Minnesota) does not deserve my recognition. You want him as dog catcher, or sewer sweeper, or governor, fine. You deserve what you get. Send the @ss-clown to Washington, and force him on the rest of us, and we're done...

Soros really went after Coleman hard. What most people don’t understand is that Coleman was a fierce critic of the UN and globalist policies so he had to be taken out. I predict MA and WV will appoint two younger Rats to replace Kennedy and Byrd sometime after the recess.

I cannot believe that the people of Minnesota elected an idiot like this. Wait, yes, I can. They also voted for Obama. Don't leave out those whose egos compelled them to protest the GOP failures by sitting the election out.
That too, has consequences and now we get to reap them.
