WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Ousted Honduran President Manuel Zelaya is expected to come to Washington to attend a special meeting of the Organization of American States on Tuesday and will likely meet with U.S. State Department officials, a department spokesman said. State Department spokesman Ian Kelly said after Zelaya speaks at the United Nations, he is expected to come to Washington for the OAS meeting, which will take place in the late afternoon.
"He wants to come down to Washington and participate in the special general assembly of the Organization of American States," Kelly said. "If he does come down to Washington, and we expect he will, State Department officials plan to meet with him."
White House spokesman Robert Gibbs, asked whether Zelaya might also see President Barack Obama when he travels to the U.S. capital for the OAS meeting, stopped short of saying such a meeting might be arranged

Can anyone who watches (stomaches) network news, tell us how this is being reported, if at all? Are the White House propogandists (a.k.a. journalists) telling the American people what Zelaya did, or is it all being played as a “coup” and a “government overthrow”, etc?
Imagine if a US president attempted to do what Zelaya tried to do. Since our current president finds nothing wrong with it, will HE try it? What would you do if he did?

Call for his impeachment and removal from office.
I wonder this as well. I also wonder if our legislature, courts and military (esp. our military) would do as Honduras' did, and protect their country from a domestic enemy.

Zelaya (as well as the Obama administration)should understand that there are a number of Americans who stand in solidarity with the Honduran people who want this Marxist thug out of office -- and who understand that his removal was done legally, with the support of the Honduran Congress AND the Honduran Supreme Court.
