Exactly what I was thinking. As soon as he is free, he will discover that she has several ‘soul-mates’ he is in competition with. The thrill being gone for her, does he really think she will want to hang around with a washed-up politician that can’t show his face in public? A guy that owes a ton in child support and alimony? Boy, is he dumb.
That’s what I think as well — if she still wants him then they deserve each other and then they can wonder if they are the one or if someone else is going to come along.
