Al Franken is the result, in part, of petulant conservatives who decided that they could not tolerate anyone who doesn’t match their idea of perfection. And so to punish what they called RINOs, they either voted for a third party or sat the election out.

The so-called petulant conservatives moved to the middle and supported George Bush, who ended up doing about as much anyone to grease the skids for Republicans being pushed out. There are still a lot of members here who just do not understand why, how and how badly GWB poisoned the well for republicans. Beware of big-tent centrists and RINOs.

#29. I agree with you. Quit beating a dead horse. The US Supreme Court rarely even takes a case like this, much less overturn it. Bush/Gore was unprecedented and, believe me, they dont want any more of those.

The best remedy for electoral court fights.....win your election decisively with no room for doubt!

Another day of infamy in the now United Socialist States of Amerika. What an ass!!! What a buffoon!!! Our country is soooooo screwed!!! Who would have ever thought in our wildest imaginations that Amerika would willingly vote in a socialist-fascist-commie pig 0boooooooombshiite usurper-in-chief, followed by a coarse vulgar pervert like Al Franken. God forgive our nation for its’s collective stupidity!!! Unfortunately I fear that we are now under God’s judgement rather than God’s mercy!!!

Never ever overestimate the intelligence of the people of MN (and many other states too!)!

As liberal as MN is, I am not at all certain that those third-party people’s second choice was not the popular Franken.

Ralph Yarborough and Strom Thurmond had a minor pushing-and-shoving incident about 1964.

I actually thought the 2006/2008 scenario would happen in 2002/2004. I was alas four years ahead of the American people in predicting their fight for destruction. I thought that the low key Cornyn would lose in 2002, but he held on in 2008, for all the good it did us. It’s all in the demographics. There is no way to rebound.

Where did this photo come from? Was this Franklin’s doing, or Photoshop?

Tell everyone you know this economy is heading for collapse, with 60 votes that will vote in lockstep on every key issue the Constitution of the United States has been repealed and the Socialist Republic of America will begin after our last Independence Day Celebration.

It should have never been close, Norm Coleman was a weak candidate, but Coleman was backstabbed by his lawyers, they could see they were excluding ballots from areas he ran strong and not in strong .

I think the Governor of Minnesota appoints the Supreme Court? So as you can see Pawlenty did a horrible job, there was clearly an equal protection violation in the recount let alone more ballots cast than voters that showed up.

Im not exactly sure what the origin is of the Franken in diaper photo. It’s been around a long time. I think it comes from a skit he did on Bill Mahrs show or something like that.
