Americans have mixed feelings about the historic climate change bill that passed the House on Friday, but 42% say it will hurt the U.S. economy. A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey shows that just 19% believe the climate change bill passed by the House on Friday will help the economy. Fifteen percent (15%) say it will have no impact, and 24% are not sure.

A majority of both Republicans (56%) and adults not affiliated with either major political party (52%) think the bill will hurt the economy. Among Democrats, however, 30% say it will help the economy, 23% that it will hurt and 21% say it will have no impact.

Forty-seven percent (47%) of investors say the bill is bad for the economy, compared to 37% of non-investors.

Investors make money when cash is moving from one place to another and they can get ahead of the curve.

The democrats polled are simply acting like sheep or idealogues.

No one with any economics understanding would buy the crap that this will help the economy unless you were ideologically blinded.

Humans not adapting to climate change will hurt the economy. Humans adapting to climate change will help the economy.

Humans have been adapting to climate change for thousands of years. And they've done a pretty good job of it, no thanks to Algore.

Looks like the "holier than thou" independents are starting to wake up.

Seems like once each generation the public has to see the left unleashed just so they can see what an abysmal abomination looks like.

All that headline screams is that 58% of people are uninformed or know it will but want hurt anyway.

I wonder how many would change their minds if they could see the data being suppressed by the EPA.
