A new toy that harnesses the same technology doctors use to monitor brain waves will arrive in stores in August. The toy moves when it senses a change in the user's brain-wave patterns.

Biofeedback was simply a heart rate and alpha wave monitor. One learned to manage stress by modulating these two measurements.
This is different. Neurologically, it is an extension of the body similar to an additional limb.
neurofeedback is when you attach electrodes to specific parts of your head, and use your thoughts to effect images on a screen, such as space ships dodging meteors. it’s therapy used to discipline your brain, a treatment for ADHD, IIRC.
biofeedback is using your perception of what’s hapenning with your body to control certain functions.

What would be neater would be something that would allow two or more degrees of motion, so you could control steering and speed on an RC car or plane with your mind.
