There's an old joke about a fantastic three-legged pig and a farmer. It comes in many versions. In some tellings, the pig saves the farmer's life. In another, it can talk. And the punch line always comes after a visitor asks the farmer, "So how come he only has three legs?"
"Because," explains the farmer, "you don't want to eat a pig like that all at once."
More and more, it seems that the Obama administration has just that attitude toward the economic crisis: doling out pork for as long as possible.

There are several variants as to how the Chicken and the Pig meet and the level of the relationship between the two.
However, in every variant of this story, the Chicken suggests that the two involve themselves in a scheme involving bacon and eggs. In reply, the Pig always notes that, for the Chicken, only a contribution is required (as a chicken can simply lay an egg and then resume normal activities- albeit giving up something of value), while for the Pig a "total commitment" is needed (as in order to make bacon, the pig must be slaughtered).
Obama is using both sides of this joke to create a new hope and change joke. We are subject to both ill effects: killing us now like the Pig (taxing us to death and/or poor healthcare encouraging death), AND taking away our nest-egg and/or killing off our offspring by taxing them to death now before they are even "hatched", like the Chicken.
The joke is on us, and the laughing is only found in the White Crib. If you have to explain a joke, it is instantly not funny, and this is NOT funny.
But what will Empress Michelle think? It's the other white meat!
