Individuals in the community can call the police and Child Protective Services. That’s what these people are really afraid of.

He can only receive a maximum of 20 years then he is out again.

Are you sure about that? Is it possible that he can receive multiple counts of the crime and have the sentences served serially instead of concurrently? Typically the DA tries to list every conceivable crime, each carrying a penalty, and then if they can prove he molested more than once -- just sayin'. The crime of internet posting and the crime of solicitation seem to be different from the molestation itself. Plus, he confessed to more than one incident while online during the sting. I hope the prosecutor can make all of it stick -- and then some.

Any NC legal FReepers care to comment?

And let’s add Oprah to that list, who is constantly promoting her gay interior designer, make-up man and celebrity friends, while complaining about her own childhood rape by her uncle and his friends. She needs to climb all over the Eno Commons den of vipers and bring her sound trucks and cameras down there to Indigo Trail for a little look-see at the remaining children, especially the children “of color.” C’mon, Oprah, get on your broom.

Way back in the 60s, our community middle school had two lesbian gym teachers who were a couple and lived together. Both were butch-looking, but one was like the Incredible Hulk. She would often chaperone the school dances, looking for any signs of heterosexual activities during the slow dances and then go ballistic. If she went over the line, wanting to throw "hand sliders" out of the dances or put "close dancers" on probation, usually one of the hetero teachers would step in and start to patronize her and defend the kids, who were just having a little fun -- NOTHING like the freak dancing and stairwell sex of today's middle schools.

This "open secret" of having lesbian coaches in the girls' locker room could only take place because society drew the line. If "Miss Sandy" stared at the girls in the showers, all they had to do was give a menacing stare back and mention that they were going to tell the principal -- end of problem. If she had stepped over the line, she would have lost her job, and so would her galpal, and their arrest and their address would have been smeared across the papers. This is tolerance, friends. We put up with your deviance if you put up with our rules and leave our kids alone.

Today, they wouldn't have to teach volleyball. They would be teaching Diversity Studies and Sex-Ed and "counseling gay and lesbian youth", and nobody in the United Socialist States of Amerikkka could stop them. Hell, they could be the principals, the school nurses, the district superintendent. No shame. Absolutely no shame.

I really hate to have to spend so much time with this issue but

Don't quit. I am very glad that you are championing this terrible crime here on FR, and in the wider cyberchannels. I did my graduate thesis on the relentless dismantling of legal protections for marriage since Brown v. Board of Education, the suit which unleashed a world of copycat civil rights offensives by every other grievance group, NONE of whom had suffered as blacks had suffered. My research soon made clear to me where the gay agenda was heading, and how destructive pansexual permissiveness is to fundamental liberties under our Constitutional system. I'm avid for the push-back to begin. Our children deserve better than the lies and distortions that are being used to justify the unjustifiable.

Gay men and women successfully lived quiet lives before identity politics became the rage. That many of them were molested explains not only the high incidence of in kind abuse but also the degree of depression the need to be lifted up and the chronic narcissism. Many of these poor people had their childhood and their chances at a normal life taken from them and now we have a popular culture that closes its eyes not only to their abuse and disease and their unfitness to be parents but would enable the cycle of abuse to continue as it has for centuries and thrust the most weak and disadvantaged among us into their hands for care.

You nailed it again.

Oh, noes. I just read, somewhere deep in the comments of this article, that the lesbian head organizer of Eno Commons is an assistant city attorney for Durham. He'll be out in 5.

Months.
