That's strange, especially since the state usually goes overwhelmingly GOP in presidential elections.
What's sad is Dorgan or Conrad would most likely be considered right of center if they came from the Northeast.

A fact that floors me for a state that hasn't gone Dem since 1964.
Hoeven ought to beat the drums against the Dems' energy tax. ND has a sizable oil industry, I think.
