Dorgan has never faced a serious first-tier GOP challenger (and neither has Conrad since 1986).

A fact that floors me for a state that hasn't gone Dem since 1964.

Hoeven ought to beat the drums against the Dems' energy tax. ND has a sizable oil industry, I think.
