Those promises remain largely unfulfilled. Corruption has dogged his government with several officials accused of taking kickbacks. He doubled the minimum wage but most businesses have refused to pay it, saying they can't afford it amid a global financial crisis. And violence has surged, rising 25 percent from 2007 to 2008 to make Honduras one of Latin America's deadliest countries.

His government declared it had the right to monitor phone conversations, though officials say they stopped tapping after a month because of the public outcry.

Zelaya has been embroiled in disputes with media outlets, accusing them of criticizing his government for economic gain, and in 2007 he ordered all radio and TV stations to broadcast his almost daily speeches.

Amazing how the current leadership put Zelaya on a jet immediately and dumped him in Costa Rica.

Most importantly, Hillary Clinton and Barack Hussein Obama sided with Hugo Chavez, Fidel Castro, and other cruel dictators to attempt to overthrow Democratic and peaceful leadership in Honduras. The Corrupt Criminal media is running the line that Obama’s thug tyrant buddy is on the right side here - and he is clearly not. The media will PAY for these lies! The Wall St. Journal has the true story- and the Mainstream Media LIES incessantly!

“Alienated?” He was trying to stage what is called in Spanish an “auto-golpe,” which means “self-coup.” This is when an elected official changes the law or uses popular pressure to keep himself in power beyond his term and assign himself all powers. He was legally removed, under the Honduran Constitution, and that’s that.

But I think Bambi may be taking a look into the crystal ball and he doesn’t want to see himself a few months hence (it’s not going to be years, but months) being shipped off to Paulau to join his Gitmo buddies.

It would be so cool if Air Force One would dump Obama in Costa Rica.

I wish you were right but Congress holds the key to going after the president and he owns them.

I wonder if this might be the start of a trend. Imagine the world’s militaries throwing leftist leaders out of office.

odumbo refused to help the Iran protestors but “meddles” to support a leftist buddy. It is going to be a long 3 and a half years.

Well, I do know that the President’s office can’t order stations to air the things he says, but that the networks will consider it and see whether they want to or not. And if it’s something that they may consider important enough, they may do it out of “competition” with each other (i.e., the other network doing the same thing). I’ve seen times when not all the networks were carrying something that the President said.

So, no, you don’t find that here...

Now those leaders have turned against him, backing the soldiers who ousted him Sunday in Central America's first military coup in 16 years.

Yet another communist propaganda piece. That is not what happened.

You said — “Yet.”

Well, since we’re in to the “yet” angle... I’ve got a “yet” to let people know about and this is pretty much *guaranteed*...

We may talk about Obama and what he’s doing, but there’s a bigger problem coming up that is worse than Obama and is coming about — and will, even if Obama had never been elected.

This is the USA being a Muslim-run and governed nation in one more generation (no matter who is elected...)

I posted the following in several other places...

That evil and oppressive governmental idealogy of Islam and the way of implementing it by Sharia law is already making inroads right here in this country — the good ole USA. We’re about to see a “takeover” of the U.S. by the evil and oppressive idealogy of the government of Islam (that is aiming for world-wide conquest and has stated that the U.S. is *on its list* to take over...)

And for those people who need some additional facts about what the evil and oppressive governmental idealogy of Islam is doing, look at some of the following.

There’s no question about it... the enemy is *Islam* itself and the evil and oppressive and false idealogy that it perpetrates. Some say the problem is “fascism” (instead of the basic oppressive governmental idealogy of Islam, itself). But, that is to engage in “political correctness” and nothing more... and sidetracks people from the *true enemy* in this war.

In one generation we’ll see, right here in the United States that “Islam” is the enemy and not “fascism”...
