Detroit (WWJ) -- Effective July 6, Monica Conyers will resign her seat on the Detroit City Council. The 44-year-old Conyers, the wife of Democratic congressman John Conyers, admitted Friday in federal court to taking cash from a Houston company in exchange for her vote on a $47 million sludge treatment contract.

She’s 44? I just checked, he was born in 1929 which makes him about 80. He started in Congress about the time Monica was born. He’s older than her father could be, more like the age of gramps? wow, I guess Democrat men like the younger women?

GOOD GRIEF - watched some of the videos. Unbelievable. AND we have her twin sister as an occupant in the White House! Are these people legal humans? No law against them?That’s just not right! Poor school kids have more common sense than she does.

Here is longer piece including an interview she did with school children who asked her about the council meeting. An 8th grader named Kieara challenged her on her childlike behavior and she did not like it.
Was the bribe money declared as income? Was it a joint return? If the answer to both questions is yes, Congressman Conyers is guilty of tax evasion.
Correction: If the bribe money was NOT declared.
