NEW YORK – Historic swindler Bernard Madoff was sentenced to 150 years in prison Monday for a fraud so extensive that the judge said he needed to send a symbolic message to potential imitators and to victims who demanded harsh punishment.

May civil suits follow them for the next 100 years...
I would been happy to see bernie go free if his trial could have gone to court, just to find out who helped him, protected him and benefited from his wrong-doing all these years. It did not happen on its’ own. Now, we will never know. He was given a deal just for that reason. Some people are too big to fail, dontchaknow.
