If it were up to me, I'd turn off every natural gas and petroleum line leaving the state.

Cut off your source of revenue. Good plan.

Quit sending the billions to DC for the dipsticks there to spend in all the liberal meccas in the other states.

Understandable, you're going to need it for your own budget. Texas gets back 94 cents for every dollar is sends to Washington so I'd say your taxes may go down slightly.

Run every libtard in Austin back to their original state.

What if they don't want to go? Are you talking arrests and forcible deportation? The Constitution and its protections will be one of the things you'll be leaving behind?

Confiscate all military equipment and secure the border on all sides with the military already in the state.

I'd say that Texas would be entitled to all the equipment assigned to it's National Guard and Air Guard, but all that stuff in Fort Hood and Fort Bliss and such? It isn't your's.

No need to force liberals out of the state.

Removal of social programs and power for the elites would cause a “greener pastures” emigration movement.

Simply deny the elites the power to control others,
and remove all benefits for sloth,

and you’d get rid of 80% of them. The rest would get a job and become productive.

Actually...I hope the new legislature would consider all former US assets abandoned....yet....partially owned by the Republic of Texas. Correct me it I am wrong, but aren'y you thinking in terms of US law...not Republic of Texas law....?

Cut off your source of revenue.

But our energy prices would be much cheaper. Where would the rest of the country get their gas from, since so much is refined on the TX coast?

I don' think that is right. If we keep the $$$$$$s here to start with, think of all the administrative dollars that would not be left in DC. As far as the libs here, if they don't like it, they will leave on their own. They tend to stay where they can suck up freebies. Cut that off and they will be out of here.

We were a republic once before, and I think we can do it again.

Texas already has a Constitution. There are plenty of protections in it. We were a separate country before and we can be one again. The details don’t matter because the most important thing is the mindset of freedom and independence, as Texas Fossil so succinctly stated.

Instead of trying to dissuade us, why don’t you come on down and join us?
