Summer in Texas is hot, but I guess ya gotta pick your poison.
If the world goes to Hell in a hand-basket, I'd rather survive Texas in the summer than take my chances of surviving a Northern winter huddled next to a stove.
You too? Hot tar will make you dance for sure....in fact I hear that is how the moon walk was actually created.
At least the kerosene (we called it white gas) was cool.....for a moment.
I’m w/ you Mama! Two sets of great grand parents came to Texas in covered wagons. Im’a grandparent myself. I’ll take these summers w/ a smile if we are free from Tyranny!
I'm originally from SoCal, and that place can be as hot as the fires of hell in the summer.
I now live in Texas, and aside from the additional discomfort of the humidity, it's not all that different in the summer.
