Secession is the wrong approach. That has been asked and answered. Texas (and the other several States cannot secede). The law after the Civil War was strengthened. what Texas can do is beak into seven OTHER States and then demand 14 new Senators be seated. Then the fun starts.

Just playing along for fun. So what makes you think that seven other states out of the make up of Texas today would result in 14 senators dedicated to the conservative cause? Texas has four cities listed in the top 17 population wise in the US. How do you propose to get 14 conservative senators having to deal with that population mix beginning with Houston the fourth largest city in the US and some 4 million in MSA population?
