Hawaii paper turns down ad probing Obama's birth

n the latest effort to obtain information that could settle the controversy over Barack Obama's eligibility for office as a "natural born citizen," WND Editor and Chief Executive Officer Joseph Farah attempted to buy a full-page ad in a Honolulu daily newspaper soliciting assistance in finding documentary evidence of his birth in the city Aug. 4, 1961, as he claims in his autobiography.

Despite offering the full rate of $7,168.50 plus taxes for a full-page, color ad on page 2 of the news section of the Honolulu Star-Bulletin next Monday, the copy was rejected – the latest turndown by a growing list of media companies that won't touch the birth certificate issue even for money.

"I spoke to my publisher and unfortunately we cannot accept the ad because it is political," explained Cyd Kamakea, classified advertising manager.

I suspect WND would have had better luck with a radio advertisement offering money for that information. Buy time on the same stations that broadcat Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity.

Word will get out - fast! Money loosens tongues. For that reason alone I don’t understand why Republicans didn’t go to Indonesia and spread around a little silver; I’m sure the Democrats didn’t sweep up ALL Barry Soetoro’s official papers.

For those on here that do not know what a real Hawaiian
birth certificate, circa 1960s, looks like, you can see one here:

I can’t believe that the state and hospitals destroyed
all of the originals and microfilms of original certificates
as issued from the hospital when they switched to the new computer generated version.

Just my personnel suspicion...nothing to back it up. I suspect Obama’s birth certificate is being with held to conceal information other than his place of birth. Note all of he information on an actual birth certificate.

I wonder what would happen if the Open Society Institute or Soros Foundation tried to place a political ad asking the same about say, Bush or McCain or better yet, Sarah Palin...

????

If they run the ad, the newspaper will have its future bailout request to the government rejected due to a bad liberal credit score. In the old days, one might not get a loan due to a bad credit score, but we've moved beyond crass capitalism.

It would be a better idea to canvas all other types of public attention like billboards, banners on buses, paying individual owners of vehicles to paint their cars with this info, even pedal-cabs.

Must use a shotgun approach, only way to defeat the MSM censorship.

Realistically probably what is happening is that there are funds being counter-offered to block anything that is against Obama. All the newspaper has to do is call up a number and say that for X amount of dollars we will block it.

If this is really happening then it should be exposed, especially if it involves campaign monies.

Red: I agree with your opinion. My suspicion is no or a different father is listed on the cert. The way things are going it will soon come to light he was born in a manger.

This whole hoax became very clear when I went back and looked at my bc from almost the same year 1960. There was a WHOLE lot more information than the “document” they are claiming is hussein’s bc. And our mugabe wannabe is spending huge amounts of cash on lawyers to keep this thing down. If he had a real bc, he could just show it at a presser, and call off the dogs and save a lot of cash. Plus at the same time, he could completely disarm all the “birthers” and make them look very foolish. It’s July 2009 and still no action toward that goal. Where there’s smoke.....

The cry is also absent among the American people who think “freedom of the press” means the right to hear Katie Couric, and 5 million per day take advantage of that. Or they live Brian Williams bowing to their secular messiah.

I can’t believe that the state and hospitals destroyed all of the originals and microfilms of original certificates as issued from the hospital when they switched to the new computer generated version.

They couldn't and they didn't. From The Hawaii Revised Statutes:

92-31 Disposition of original record. A photograph, microphotograph, reproduction on film, or electronic form of a government record shall be placed in conveniently accessible files and provisions made for preserving, examining, and using the same. Thereafter, a public officer, after having first received the written approval of the comptroller as provided in section 94-3, may cause such record, paper, or document to be destroyed. The comptroller may require, as a prerequisite to the granting of such approval, that a reproduction or print of such photograph, microphotograph, or reproduction on film, or electronic form of the record be delivered into the custody of the public archives for safekeeping. The comptroller may also require the delivery into the custody of another governmental department or agency or a research library of any such record, paper, or document proposed to be destroyed under the provisions of this section.

So, either the original microfiche copy is still available or a complete reproduction of it in electronic form is available. To put something in electronic form and not copy all the data on the original document would be against the law. Where these files have to be accessible and provisions have to be made for examining them, it would be misleading for the Department of Health to say that the information on the original Certificate of Live Birth is no longer available.

Wow, great information.
We can always count on FReepers to fill in the blanks.

For some strange reason they are ALL scared to death to touch this issue with a ten-foot pole, including USSC!!!

Next time you go in to buy a Burger, think about this video seriously or what recently happened in Samson, GA???

Unless the B.C. lists a different father, we don’t need his B.C. It is total irrelevant!!!
