Doesn't anybody research their candidates anymore?

You do realize who are president is, don't you? That should answer your question.

The congress and the executive branches are the will of the people.

Right, if by "the people" you mean Soros, Acorn, Union bosses and internationalist Wall Street bankers and CEOs. The rest of us appear to have little to say about anything.

If violating your oath of office to uphold the constitution is not a high crime it is certainly a misdemeanor,IE an impeachable offense.

It is all in the way you look at things. Just ask Obama how holding majority ownership stakes in banks, and car companies is the least bit constitutional. It isn't.

Well they are supposed to act as the will of the people.
Unfortunately most of the people can’t buy a major party.

Yeah, but unless the rule is stark and simple, it loses its initially understood meaning over time.

I mean, sometimes it comes down to “Let’s not argue and bicker about who killed who.” So, what’s a little violation of your oath of office between friends?

And even then, “stark and simple” doesn’t get you there.

“Freedom of speech” has now become “freedom of expression.” “Freedom of religion” has now become “separation of church and state.” “Freedom of the press” can be limited by a “fairness doctrine.”

And just look what they’ve done to the 2nd ammendment. Geeze, it took them 200+ years to recognize it as an individual right.

The most confusing part is that the court has never been asked to rule upon the issue of a presidents eligibility due to status as a natural born citizen.

I simply believe that because of the situation with Obama, if he qualifies, which he must, he is the president(God I hate to say that), than jindal most certainly qualifies.

Heck Obamas father didn't even p[pretend to want to become a citizen. and the disingenuous prick is constantly referring to his father as an immigrant when he was actually a foreign exchange student.

problems with places like Washington, Oregon, NY and Minnesota is that all it takes is for the one large city to be controlled by the Rats.....such as Seattle, or Portland, or Minneapolis, etc....

if the rat machine controls the large cities, then they can dictate the election....

I hear you. It takes a lawyer to be so obtuse that they don't understand what the term Shall Not means.

I sometimes believe that lawyers should be disqualified from congress and the judiciary. Common sense seems to be lost somewhere between the first and third year of law school. Must be all the Latin.

I wore a black armband for a week after the elections. While my boss was amused, my co-workers weren't.

I've been weeping for my country ever since. I know it died a lot earlier, but it was like the final blow, the coup de gras.

Well, there's always the revolution to look forward to. I heard it's kinda like an inquisition. Nobody expects it!

I'll be quite honest with you, I wouldn't be surprised if we experienced a military coup. Obama has already turned us into a banana republic. A coup d'état is the next logical step.

I only wish that the USSC would recognize that every citizen has standing when it comes to constitutional issues.

"I'm prepared to sign [the certification] as soon as they give the green light," Pawlenty said. “I’m not going to defy an order of the Minnesota Supreme Court. That would be a dereliction of my duty."...

So Pawlenty thinks the Executive branch must bow down before the co-equal Judiciary branch of government.... What a coward. This assclown is definitely not presidential material. That speculation was a joke.

By the time a “military coup” happens, it will be a welcome balancing “act” to aid in “political transition.”
