It appears that this new administration has turned the government into an all star freak show.

One of these should be able to sue the other.

Harvard law professor Cass Sunstein is beyond belief. Where's Carlos Mencia when you need him. Jeez what a NUT the professor is.

This administration is literally from hell. Even aliens from Planet Zebo aren't this stupid.

But Chambliss worries that Sunsteins innovative legal views may someday lead to a farmer having to defend himself in court against a lawsuit filed on behalf of his chickens or pigs.
I could just see it now. PETA lawyers shutting down farms and slaughterhouses on behalf of the animals. Of course, they would unilaterally appoint themselves as lawyers for the “plantiffs”. Think of how many farms there are—quite the bonanza for lawyers. There was a time not so long ago that such a thing would be unthinkable. Apparently, that time has come and gone.

That name is ringing a bell, Cass Sunstein, seems like I’m recalling some sort of kerfluffle wherein he signed on to FR to argue about something.
Does anyone have a photo of this guy to post? I’ll know if it’s the same guy from a photo.

To be tried by a henhouse of their peers?

Sen. Saxby Chambliss (R-Ga.) has blocked President Obamas candidate for regulation czar,
It's amazing how we, as a nation, fall for the premise. Why are we accepting this nonsense? I block your nut-case czar Obama because I don't recognize the need for a czar in the first place.

FYI: Cass Sunstein is male, although you wouldn't think so from his name. What sort of man has "Cass" for a front name? Now we know. He is named after Lewis Cass, an 18th century politician. His parents might have done better to name him "Lewis".
Here are some choice quotes from the article:
"Sunsteins nomination cleared the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee with ease in May. Sen. Tom Coburn (R-Okla.) cast the only vote against him."
"Sen. Pat Roberts (R-Kan.), a member of the Agriculture Committee, met with Sunstein earlier this month and said that Sunstein had provided assurance that he would not promote onerous regulations for farmers."
"An aide to Chambliss said the senator is also concerned by Sunsteins suggestion during a 2007 speech that hunting should be banned."
Never fear, he'll get in. Elections have consequences.

Good for Chambliss. At least someone in the Senate has some commonsense, unlike the White House.

Chambliss told The Hill that he has blocked Sunsteins nomination because the law professor has said that animals ought to have the right to sue folks. Well then it only follows that folks should have the right to sue them back.
Our dogs do nothing but lay around, look cute, demand treats and run up sky-high vet bills (one has actually had laser surgery). We're getting sick of it.

Animals may be family, they cannot sue people. They have no concept of law.
How can a human representative know what is going on in the mind of an animal?
Why do we even entertain these massive morons? They need to be rounded up and pushed into a thunderdome. Last person standing gets to leave.
