It would be wonderful, but most people aren’t that honorable. I read that one of the things that facilitated the rise of Hitler was the fact that, by that time, a huge percentage of Germans worked for the government (Weimar was very statist too, just not vicious). That’s one of the things Hugo did, too, and what Obama is striving for in the US.
Get most Americans working for the government, and you’ll see absolutely NO resistance to tyranny.
