Good for Sarah...But what kind of “Republicans” could actually be voting for Huckabee — especially after seeing what nominating a liberal to run as head of the supposedly-Conservative party (whether a result of leftist dirty tricksters or genuine registered Republicans) did for us in the last election?

Interesting that they used an “Al Gore Global Warming Homeless Bear” on that coin.

I sure hope the party wises up and doesn’t make a terrible

Remember when gay marriage really wasn’t a serious problem until it really became a serious problem, from 2002 on? Well, being so sure right now that there will be elections in the future is in the same boat that the issue of gay marriage used to be, prior to 2002 and beyond.
My point was that elections will continue, they always do, no matter what level of authoritarian fascism/communism the country falls to - it’s just that those in power determine the outcome of those elections. So, the question of whether there will BE elections is not the right question. Will there be FAIR elections is the question.
We’ve already seen that start with the Franken/Cole election. Cole won by 752 votes. ACORN has made a point of getting their guys in charge of elections (Sec of State). The Mn SecState ruled EVERY question in Franken’s favor - result, Senator Franken.
That reminds me of the chorus of a song by Disturbed called Indestructible:
