And I’m sure the Honduran military is afraid of the mighty Venezuelan army. Come on, the Venezuelan army might intimidate unarmed civilians, but I sincerely doubt that they can handle a trained and armed military force.
Actually Venezuela has F-16’s and Su-30’s. Honduras has a handful of F-5 Tigers from the 60’s...

Aside from which, the Venezuelan armed forces have no way of getting to Honduras. It's 1400 miles from Caracas to Tegucigalpa -- via air or sea, or four other countries by land.
The Venezuelan Air Force and the Venezuelan Navy, together, would be hard pressed to transport and support a platoon.
How would the Venezuelans even GET there?. Honduras is as far from Venezuela as Miami is from New York. Do they have anything that can float that far without sinking?/s
