Maybe you missed it, but Clinton and Nixon both violated the law while they were in office. We didn’t have the military stage a coup to remove them. We followed our constitutional procedures. The Hondurans could have and should have followed their own constitution and removed Zelaya by impeachment.
What is the basis for your comment that Honduras has impeachment procedures like ours? I'm not saying they don't, but nothing I've read so far suggests that they do.
Are you still perusing the Honduran constitution to see if it has impeachment procedures similar to ours? I’d be very satisfied to read the relevant article (translated into English, of course).
