Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) had a few choice words about House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's (D-Calif.) landmark climate-change bill after its passage Friday.
When asked why he read portions of the cap-and-trade bill on the floor Friday night, Boehner told The Hill, "Hey, people deserve to know what's in this pile of s--t."

Excellent.
Though I would add that it is a destructive, productivity inhibiting, expensive for everyone in EVERYTHING, job-killing, pile of shit.
I hope he INSISTED that his expletive he included in the quote.
And yes, I am serious. There should be serious consequences for not standing up against things like this.
Well, Congressman Boehner, I’m glad YOU think its a steamy pile. . .but we already know that. . .What I want to hear you say is that you plan to make sure the political future of any Republican who voted for this is also a pile of s**t!!!
He doesn’t have any say at all as to their office assignments. It’s all done on seniority. What the GOP should do is reassign them to committees that have no say over issues important to the constituents in their districts.
Thank you for the correction. I agree 100% with your suggestion. Heck, the Senate GOP should have done this to Arlen Specter years ago.
Agreed! Since the days of Dick Armey and Tom DeLay, iron fisted leadership has been gone, at least on the House side.
The Senate? I never thought I’d write this, but Bob Dole is looking better and better.
I glad he can correctly label this pile of shit bill as a pile of shit.
Now if he would correctly label the Kenyan as a god damned socialist, I’d be somewhat impressed.
I am starting to like Boehner a lot more! For what seems like the first time he put his thoughts into very plain and easy to understand language.
If his spine doesn’t melt (hope, hope, hope) we may have a new leader.
does it ever dawn on our republican opposition party
that it’s the “bipartisanship” of john mccain et al
that is feeding the democrat-socialists
and destroying america?

If memory serbes...this is the guy who referred to the stimulus bs way back many months ago now as a “sh!t sandwich”!
One straight-talkin’ dude, huh!!!!!

You are telling me that if those 8 had voted with Republicans that this bill would have been killed. Don’t bet your house on it. What Pelosi did because of those 8 idiots was to allow 8 Democrats to vote NO for reelection purposes who would have voted YES without the idiots. That bill was passing the House not matter what.
Probably out of the 44 Dems, maybe 12-16 would have voted NO not matter what she said. The others do her bidding when necessary.
That said, I say go after them full throttle because they allowed 8 Democrats to vote NO that we could have nailed in 2010.

That's telling it like it is!!
Why does Boehner even allow his republicans to vote on this stuff, when no one even had an opportunity to even read the bill? If you really want to make a statement, walk out of the House and don’t vote, and tell the country why. And in the process of telling the country why, and refusing to return for a vote until the bill has been properly discussed, fewer and fewer House members will escape the scrutiny of the public.
Exactly right on. No way was this going to be defeated.
Hopefully, Boehner will realize the people like how he acted, that he showed the democrats for what they are....liars and thieves. I hope he will continue with his new found power with the people. This is the type of Congressman we need. That and Michelle Bachmann.
The prime movers of our country are in place to profit hugely from carbon credits. They’re done screwing us over with Wall Street and Real Estate, and this is the next big thing. It’s a done deal. We might as well get used to it.
Oh, and its got nothing to do with political idealogy, parties, or socialism. It’s about money. Period.
