David Axelrod...heh.

Gregory asks some dopey question about Cap and Trade failing in the senate. Axelrod says “So what are we going to do about our dependence on foreign oil.”

Now if, just throwing it out there, Gregory were a REAL Journalist...he could respond, again, just throwing it out there ..”MANY SAY WE COULD JUST DRILL IN OUR OWN COUNTRY WHERE THERE ARE KNOWN VAST RESERVES OF OIL.”

Jes’ throwing it out there.

BUT....tomorrow I want to see the pubs inundating the pundit shows, remarking about this Axelrod interview and, just throwing it out there, maybe give a chuckle or two about that question about our dependency on foreign oil, Axelrod’s assertion that this massive tax Cap and Spend bill is the answer and hey, just throwing it out there, MAYBE THE PUBS COULD MENTION A BETTER ANSWER WOULD BE TO DRILL ON OUR OWN SHORES, that this job-killer is not needed.

Americans understand drilling on our own land. We’re not counting on campaign contributions from thinly disguised foreign coffers to keep us dependent on foreign oil.

It’s a winning issue for the pubs and Axelrod threw the softball in their suntanned, perfectly coiffed head-haired laps.

Just throwing it out there.

The cost of medical malpractice insurance is no big deal to doctors, according to Sebelius.

If you do not care at all that you are not telling the truth, there are simply no barriers.

Those “95% of Americans” who THOUGHT they would not be taxed are gonna curse the day they ever voted for the Obama chimera.

Another tax already hitting the pocketbooks of many Obama voters--the cigarette tax. I just hope they've had the sense to recognize the hypocrisy.

Anecdote: The day after the tax went into effect, I overheard a couple of likely Obama fans complaining about the cost of their cigarettes. I softly stated, "So much for the President's pledge of no new taxes." Saw a glimpse of discernment, albeit fleeting, in one of them.

As I understand it, relatives are already looking for cash under the cushions.

And good luck on a COD. The media cannot find a 0 birth certificate so I doubt they would know what it looks like.

With the exception of MJ, all of us...and them...are currently polluting the atmosphere: we breathe out carbon dioxide, you know.

Apparently, libs...even Harvard and Yale grads...failed biology 101...trees NEED it to produce OXYGEN, which WE need to live.

We’ll all be on fumes if they have their way.

LOL. Brit and I got the same expression on our faces when Juan talked about sending a signal to China and India.

The “Oh, please” look.

Sanford....well this launches me into another rant.

Brit Hume said, in summary and correct in substance, that Gov. Sanford is a laughing stock.

Indeed he is.

I listened to that ridiculous press conference of his and I had to cover my ears.

No I don’t think Sanford should necessarily resign although sure if his voters want it. I think Sanford should be treated just like a Democrat had a Dem did such a thing. IE...ho freaking hum.

I reserve the right to think badly of this foolish man with four sons who abandons his post as Governor of a state, runs off to Ipanema to fornicate like an adolescent rabbit with some babe not even American for God’s sake. Then he comes back and holds this press conference where’s he’s teary-eyed and telling this “story” in all its absurdity.

Did anybody read his email to this woman? Sheesh.

I heard it was the Ipanema babe’s husband who turned it over to the newspapers.

Heh.

Why these pubs find their gonads when they need to fornicate with wommin not their wives but have a total void when it comes to taking a stand on the issues?

Okay, this rant over...unless I get rile again...reserving the right.

I love FNS but I cannot hear 90% of what Brit Hume says. He speaks so damned softly that the words disappear. Couldn’t they up his audio level or tell him to speak up?

Aw, come on, Fishtalk. Sanford just has a memory problem: He forgot that he's a Governor, and he forgot the "forsaking all others" part of his marriage vows.

And he HAS apologized, so everything is now okey dokey and forgiven.(/Big Time sarcasm)

I don't know many of the particulars of the bill itself. Mostly I know what Boehner read from the amendment Friday evening. Why is it that NO ONE is speaking about this? All I hear people talk about is the cost. Even Boehner skimmed past some (IMO) very important parts with the phrase “...no mention of funding.” The one that stands out in my mind was his mention of “location efficiency” in building new homes. The Fed now wants to determine where we can build our homes...where we can live! What about his mentioning of the Fed determination of standards of “efficiency” for new AND EXISTING homes? Of needing Fed inspections of homes for sale and the seller's mandated responsibility to adhere to these standards?

Maybe I'm paranoid, but I think there is much, much more to talk about with this bill other than cost.

What he said was that Zero was two beats behind the music all week on the Iran situation, that when he did speak, he couldn’t bring himself to say what this was about...FREEDOM...and just kept resorting to the word “justice”.

Netanyahu said it, staring into the camera. It’s easy to see what this is about. It’s staring you in the face. They want freedom, he said. Now Brit Hume has said that magic word.

Our guy (well, he’s someone’s guy) couldn’t bring himself to utter the word.

Karl Rove is a legend in his own mind. He and Graham tried to push amnesty down our throats and called those who opposed it bigots and nativists. Rove helped destroy the GOP control over Congress strongarming Reps to support doubling the education budget and establishing the prescription drug program.

Well, Roccus, you could not be more right about that.

Boehner did touch on it when he talked about the fed gov taking over all building codes and how it intruded into every aspect of our lives. There is so much wrong with it and so much evil about it that it's hard to cover it all.
