Reports are now starting to confirm that MJs death was most likely caused by a large dosage of Demerol:
That is exactly what a source told The Sun happened shortly after Jackson was administered an injection of the drug. Demerol has a tremendous amount of side effects, Dr. Patrick Annello, an anesthesiologist and pain management specialist at St. Francis Hospital on Long Island told FOXNews.com. It can cause rapid heart rate, arrhythmias and given in high enough doses it can cause respiratory depression or shallow breathing.
After taking the Demerol, he started to experience slow, shallow breathing, the source told the newspaper. His breathing gradually got slower and slower until it stopped.
There are also reports the icon was taking a cocktail of prescription drugs including antidepressants.
If antidepressants are accidentally given in conjunction with Demerol, it can cause a very bad hypertensive reaction, and the patient can have a heart attack and stroke as a result, Anello said.
Dangerous reactions can occur if Demerol is administered while a patient is taking other narcotic pain medications, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxers, or other medications that can make them sleepy or slow respiratory function.
Brian Oxman, Jackson family attorney, confirmed Jacksons use of other medications when he told CNN Thursday that they had gotten in the way of doing rehearsals.
His injuries, which he had sustained performing, where he had broken a vertebra and he had broken his leg from a fall on the stage, were getting in the way, Oxman said. I do not know the extent of the medications that he was taking.
Damn. R.I.P. Mike.
Michael Jackson is still dead. But we now know what he is still dead of.
A part of our culture is gone. Good riddance.
Just like Elvis...No wonder his doctor is nowhere to be found — he’s about to be charged with negligent homicide.
I don’t see the problem here.
Still the crotch grabbers dance on.
Can’t we just plant the molester and move along? I’m sick of hearing about the freak.
Perhaps MJ, in his death, is about to make an actual, productive contribution to society. His death exposes in graphic detail the dangers of these celeb drug docs—who exist in all moneyed circles, not just Hollywood. Moreover, MJ’s inexplicable) hundreds of millions of fans have a sobering reality check for their own lives. Young lives will be saved in numbers way beyond the ones he’s ruined.
This may be a stretch, but maybe his kids have a chance of growing up normal now.
You think? Their choices are the freaks that created Michael Jackson in the first place or the woman who wanted to sell her parental rights to them and was ‘fortunate’ enough to not have that happen so now she has hit the jackpot.
I don’t know what’s worse, the childhood they had or the childhood they are soon to have.
All signs lead to me still not being able to care any less.
The Jackson family doesn't have a good reputation for raising well rounded kids who enjoy good mental health, and are usually credited with Michael Jackson's weirdness.
Debbie Rowe on the other hand, essentially sold the kids and hasn't seen them since she handed them over at birth. Neither prospect looks good.
Yes! It is pathtic when olde weird Mike gets 24/7 coverage from FOXNEWS for killing himself while ignoring Obama’s “Cap and Trash America Bill” that was slammed thru yesterday! Michael was the new NONMORALITY that is today’s figurehead for the Demorat Party:-(
Surely you jest! Texas Chick?
In the last 36 hours the Norks crossed the 38th parallel, al Queda got control of Pakistan’s bomb, Iran massacred 100,000 protestors and Obama had ice cream. And because of MJ none of the news outlets covered any of these events. Oh except for MSNBC which paid for Obama’s ice cream.
"Hospital's on fire? cool......."
"I'm going to die today? ....... whatever........"
"This is going to cost me a million bucks? .......yawn......"
I don't see now anyone could function with that stuff in them.
All signs lead to depravity as cause of MJ’s death
So how can we get Jackson’s doctor in charge at the White House?
