Harry Reid knows this bill will never pass the senate due to it's rules regarding "climate control" treaties and laws. See what Jim Inhofe had to say about it in the Oklahoma Farm Report:

"MSNBC reports Harry Reid does not have enough votes to pass the cap-and-trade bill." IIRC Pelosi said the same thing a few days ago...

Thanks God....If this passed, any chance of an economic recovery was doomed. As much as i want the Democrats thrown out of office for stupidity, i don’t want America to have to be destroyed in the process.

Keep the pressure on the Senate. Let’s keep them against this ridiculous bill.

Yeah, but the Senate’s a different animal, even if it’s Rat controlled.

Propaganda to get us to back down.
Obama wasn’t supposed to be elected President, either.

This will pass in some form. It also can be stopped, or at least paired down in 2010 when most of these clowns are voted out. Obamacare is a different story. Once everyone gets their “free” health care, there’s no taking it away.

With 8 Republicans in the House voting for this bill....I'm almost certain that the Senate turncoats will show up.....
I am beginning to dislike republicans more than democrats... At least I know what to expect from a democrat.

They say they have 55 votes. If they charter in Kennedy and Byrd from ICU that’d be 57 votes. Seat Al-Franken and 58. Still two short. Easy pickings for Obama. A bbq or ballgame invite or something will flip a couple of rinos.

Obama “clean energy transformation make possible the creation of millions of new jobs.”
Keyword, “possible”. The only guarantee here is that electricity, gas and food cost are going up.
