Hail Storm Greets House Passage of Terrible Cap and Tax Bill
American Spectator ^ | June 26, 2009 | Matthew Vadum

A few minutes ago, just after the House narrowly approved a massive new federal energy tax, there was a nasty hail storm over Washington, D.C.

Could it be a sign from above that the cap and trade bill that just barely passed the House (219 to 212) is a terrible idea?

Tim Phillips of Americans for Prosperity suggests the fact that the vote was so close is significant given the Democrats' overwhelming majority in the House:

Here are the names of the eight Republican lawmakers who betrayed their party and their country by voting for this extremist legislation:

Mary Bono-Mack (California), Mike Castle (Delaware), Mark Kirk (Illinois), Leonard Lance (New Jersey), Frank LoBiondo (New Jersey), John McHugh (New York), Dave Reichert (Washington), and Chris Smith (New Jersey). (Why so many sellouts from New Jersey?)

Because New Jersey Republicans are RINOs rather than strong conservatives?

And perhaps because their constituents actually believe in Al Gore and global warming?

Not much on the internet on this but a quick search indicates this "ain't good."

For those that abide by such signs...

Hail
dream interpretation, symbol

If you dream of being in a hail storm, you will meet poor success in any undertaking.

If you watch hail-stones fall through sunshine and rain, you will be harassed by cares for a time, but fortune will soon smile upon you.

To hear hail beating the house, indicates distressing situations.

Since the "House" of Representatives is a large room without exterior views it is not possible that the hailstones could have been seen to "fall through sunshine and rain."

Tough luck for the jerks that voted for it.

We'll have to let them know indirectly, by pressuring Boehner and the RNC.

Give the liberals enough rope and they will hang themselves. The only way this works if people are forced to do it and Americans don’t like being forced to do anything. What must we do...
1. Get a list of all GOP who voted for this abonination.
2. Post the list so we can drum them out of the party with Tar and feathers!
3. Get a list of all Demo’s who voted no to the bill and support them.
4. Take over the GOP NOW or Start a Conservative/Constitutional Party to break the back of the corrupt two party system.

Something more tangible than a hailstorm is necessary. And for the record, read that as elections...
