No politician should be invested with some sort of mystical ability or elevated as some Utopian ‘hope and change’ type persona.And all politicians should be viewed with circumspection.What is important is that Gov. Palin is the contemporary political figure who is closest to what the founders had in mind:She’s a self starting citizen-politician with values of rugged individualism,character and conservative values as well as a winning personality.(And she can handle a shotgun.)
