There’s a competing theory that say McCain would have won had he not alienated so many voters by picking someone like Palin, undercutting his entire “experience matters” campaign.

It has been pointed out to you about 20 times that McCain lead the ticket, not Palin. And all the polling evidence suggests that Palin HELPED the ticket, not hurt it.
