WASHINGTON -(Dow Jones)- U.S. President Barack Obama on Friday again condemned the Iranian government's violent attacks on demonstrators, but said it's too soon to say whether those actions will hinder U.S.-Iran talks aimed at halting Iran's development of nuclear weaponry.
"We are still waiting to see how the situation in Iran plays out," Obama said in response to questions at a joint White House press conference with German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

Actually, there could be a huge amount in it for him.
If he helped bring down the regime, he would be forever remembered in the same sentence as Reagan bringing down the Wall. He’d get the Nobel Prize and accolades in history books forever.
I would think Obama and his people would be doing everything they could to make it happen.
That would make a good tag line. Good thing he's not the leader of the Free World.

As much as I dislike the man, I don’t think that he is the first prez to ignore human suffering and violation of human right issues.
Think Ruwanda some years ago, then think Southern Sudan and the muslim persecution of Christians and other non-muslims, today. Think NORK with an entire nation of walking dead.
Then think US and how we will lose our personal freedom if he stays in the WH too long. There are more important issues for us to resolve than what is happening in Iran today.
