To my knowledge, he’s not wearing a dress! He hasn’t been a priest for many years, and in any case, I would doubt that he ever wore a cassock. The whole thing for these Liberation Theology guys was to look like one of the “peepul,” which they did by dressing like slobs. Most if not all of them, of course, came from upper middle class to wealthy families, just as they do here.
